I was hiking last week out in the high Sierra (very dry) on the eastern side of the Sierra Nevada and passed a guy who was wearing these!!! Apparently, thery’re for hiking too. Then I saw magnificent, totally amazing Yosemite Valley. And then enjoyed my favorite city, San Francisco, where it’s very moist, not dry. Loved seeing the fog come in. What a city! The museums are spectacular, the botanical gardens are magical, and the view from Coit Tower is wonderful – not to mention the 1934 WPA murals, which is the real reason I went to coit Tower.
